CJ Ejimuda, MSc

Founder

The inspiration behind the founding of EV Load came from the challenges encountered in the deployment of an electrified rail systems' deep-tech product. Recently, CJ held the position of Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) helping build customer solutions and ensuring their technical delivery quality for AWS partners globally. His prior experience includes serving as an Electrical Systems Project Engineer and engaging with various startups in roles spanning from full-stack developer (web and mobile) to data engineer, data scientist, and roboticist, in California and Colorado. CJ holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California. **Fun fact:** My first encounter with Charles happened on the soccer pitch as I skillfully dribbled past him during a game ⚽️🥅

Charles is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California with an impressive career spanning 38 years in electrical power, communication and control systems. His vast expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including designing Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure and Fleet Electrification projects, as well as developing utility-scale Renewable and Thermal power systems. Charles' extensive experience also extends to overseeing the construction of these projects, providing specialized consulting, project management, and implementing control system (SCADA) applications for commercial and heavy industrial clients.
